Parcours Riverain

Parcours Riverain is a mobile app developed for the City of Montreal. It provides a guide to the cities points of interest along its many waterways. The app is primarilly a mapping app with categorized maps to help locate over a 1000 parks, historical sites and other sites. The user can save their favorite destinations, locate spots close to them and do rapid searches on the entire library of locations.

The app is built using the Ionic/AngularJS framework and uses a Drupal 7 backend to manage the sites content.

A unique backend data store was implemented to improve performace in communicating with the Drupal server.

The app is available today on both iTunes (iOS) and Google Play (Android).
